“Amazing exhibit, the photos in the exhibit really show the beauty of these amazing horses. You feel as if you are right there witnessing these animals in their fullness. Beautiful and amazing work! -Bryan Dominguez

"Entering Deanna Camp's White Horse Photo Exhibit brought tears to my eyes, a reaction I had not expected. I slid into a nearby chair immediately, collecting myself and searching for why I felt so emotional. The majesty, the strength, the nobility, the purity of these horses was so powerful and moving to me and I began to understand that it had been too long since I had witnessed those qualities anywhere. It touched my heart deeply and I was grateful that I could carry the feeling and one of the powerful images home with me……Stunning!’’           -Sat Kartar Kaur Khalsa

This work is from my trips to the Camargue. It is a coastal region of France located south of Arles between the Mediterranean Sea and the two arms of the Rhone River delta.  I could hear whispers in the wind when I was there. They call to me to return often.

The Camargue is known for its unique natural environment, including vast wetlands, salt marshes, and lagoons, and is famous for its wild white horses.

These horses are known for their distinctive white coats, their ability to thrive in the harsh wetland environment, and their close relationship with the guardians (the regions cowboys and cowgirls).  I found them to be gentle, communicative, and each full of their own personalities. Having an emmersive experience with them was magical.

This exhibit was such a wonderful success. We were busy every day. Twenty prints were exhibited and eighteen prints were sold. I want to thank everyone that made this success possible.
